These Terms and Conditions govern your use of edu.gamiyaacademy.com, operated by Gamiya Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

  • You must give accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account.
  • Accounts are personal. You may not share your login or course access with other people.
  • Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Courses and access

  • When you buy a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to view it for your own learning.
  • Unless stated otherwise on the course page, you keep access to purchased courses for as long as the course remains on the site and your account is in good standing.
  • We may update, improve or change course content from time to time.
  • Certificates confirm completion of a course on this platform. They are not government-accredited qualifications unless the course page says so.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, PayHere. We do not store your card details.
  • We may change course prices or run discounts at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
  • Course access is given once payment is confirmed.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual property

All course videos, documents, images, text and other materials belong to Gamiya Academy or its instructors and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, record, download (except where a download is provided), share, resell or publish any course content without our written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post offensive, harmful, misleading or unlawful content in reviews, Q&A or other areas of the site;
  • harass instructors or other students;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, other accounts or our systems;
  • use the site for any illegal purpose.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, without a refund.

7. Instructors

Instructors who publish courses on the platform are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their content and must also follow these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Our courses are for educational purposes. We do our best to keep content accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee any particular result from taking a course, or that the site will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
